This committee works with four other major institutional stakeholders: the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the World Trade Organization, and the United Nations Development Programme in order to help regulate the financing for development.

Formation

This committee was born in 1964 by the necessity of justice and regulation in trade between developed and developing nations.

It serves as a forum for debate and deliberation for new proposals that could increase the global economy or everything that have to do with economy.

Approval

The commitee report to the UN General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council but have our own membership, leadership, and budget.

The headquarters are located in Geneva, Switzerland, and we have offices in New York and Addis Ababa.
